Bracebridge councillors vote in favour of keeping fluoride

Bracebridge councillors have voted in support of keeping fluoride in the municipal drinking water. Their vote happened this week at Town hall. The recommendation to keep fluoride goes to council on the 15th of this month for ratification. From there, the Town will inform the District of its wishes. All Muskoka municipalities have been given the chance to weigh-in on the subject. Opponents say fluoride causes health problems. Proponents say it helps prevent cavities.
