Elderly woman charged for hitting Bracebridge OPP cruiser

An elderly woman is in trouble with police after she struck a cruiser while entering a Bracebridge roundabout. On Thursday, a woman was travelling east when she slowed down before speeding up in the roundabout. The tire of a police SUV was struck. Traffic was blocked going south off the roundabout, but was reopened around 4:45pm. She’s been charged with failing to yield to traffic.
