The family of the man who died in a car crash north of Huntsville has come forward with a statement.
Tina Moore, who identified the victim as her 22-year-old son Colton Orr, says she’d like to thank the community for its support.
“Thank you for the respectful coverage on the fatal accident on the evening of Nov 4th that claimed the life of our son,” says Moore in an email to our newsroom. “Your post provided us with many prayers and condolences and we are grateful for the community support.”
Moore asked to pass on the following statement, with more details to be provided by Opatovsky Funeral Home:
“The family of Colton Orr would like to extend their deepest heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support and prayers. At this time we have no comments with respect to the accident as its cause pales in comparison to its effect. As his parents, stepfather, stepmother, eight siblings and large extended family process this tragedy we ask for peace, prayers and privacy.”
Police have not released further details about the incident.
