Dorset Lions Club donates thousands to Dorset Community Health Care Hub

The Dorset Community Health Care Hub is well into the planning process and is even farther along with the recent $5,000 donation. It came from the Dorset Lions Club, whose president Stan Tyrrell said it’s a worthwhile project that will benefit areas in and around Dorset. The plan for the Hub is to have Nurse Practitioners provide health services like management of chronic diseases and Community Mental Health. The Health Care Team says they’re hoping to have the doors open this summer.
