OPP charges two Muskokans with impaired

A 72-year-old Port Carling woman faces charges for driving drunk. Bracebridge OPP say at around 8pm on Saturday, officers received a traffic complaint about a vehicle travelling between Port Carling and Bala. The vehicle was later located in Bala during the Trek to Bethlehem. Police arrested the woman and charged her with driving impaired. Her court date is on Dec. 30 in Bracebridge.

In the meantime, another driver has also been charged for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police say on Saturday at around 2pm, Bracebridge OPP investigated an incident involving a vehicle on Beaver Ridge Road in Gravenhurst. A 47-year-old Gravenhurst man was charged for driving impaired and will appear in Bracebridge court Jan. 20.
