The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Sport Council wants a more active community

The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Sport Council wants to help our community get more active. In an info session last week, the council presented updates on a few local sports organizations and what they need to grow. A few of Huntsville’s newly elected officials were there. Council Chair John Cowan says the council wanted to share their common vision for the future of sport in town.

The Sport Council also shared concerns include needing a multisport facility and more programming. Councillor Karin Terziano says she thinks council is open to working with the local groups.
