Funds being raised to help a local disabled man get a new scooter

The Huntsville community is coming together to raise funds for a disabled man who had his scooter damaged. Last Friday morning, John Bibby went to the Tim Horton’s on Main Street and someone smashed the front of his scooter while he was inside. The Swap Shop store manager Joe Reuvekamp says he and his friends wanted to raise money help.

Reuvekamp says they’ve raised almost $500 so far. Reuvekamp knows Bibby through Bibby’s sister and has seen him visit the shop from time to time. Reuvekamp says he can’t believe this happened.
