OPP warns residents to lock up valuables when closing the cottage

The Huntsville OPP is investigating a series of break-ins in Huntsville and Lake of Bays. Sometime between September 26^th and October 24^th someone stole a STIHL 036 chainsaw from a Markles Road home. Then on Sunday there were two separate break-ins where someone stole a BB air rifle and booze from an Acre Drive home in Lake of Bays and some knives from a cottage on South Moot Lake Road. The OPP is reminding you to lock up your valuables and have a neighbour check on your home or cottage while you’re away.
