Huntsville gets ready for Election Day

It’s Election Day! Voter turnout in Huntsville for this year’s municipal election is very close to the last election numbers. Acting CAO Denise Corry gives us the tally so far.

These numbers are based on totals as of Thursday night. Corry says these numbers are great to see.

Corry says they expect more ballots to be handed in by 8pm. If you haven’t dropped off yours yet, you can do so on the third floor of the Civic Centre. Corry says if you never received a voter kit or the one you have is incorrect, you can still come down to Town Hall to vote.

Corry says there isn’t a traditional polling station, just a drop off box to put in your ballot. Council chambers will be closed to the public while votes are being counted. Results will be projected on a screen at Partner’s Hall.
