WEATHER ALERT: Thunderstorm warning and cold front for Muskoka-Parry Sound

A thunderstorm warning is in effect for areas of Muskoka and Parry Sound. Thunderstorms with very heavy downpours and gusty winds are possible this afternoon and tonight. According to Environment Canada a low pressure system over Iowa will also track northeastward towards the Great Lakes causing a sharp cold front in Southern Ontario. The result will be cooler temperatures in the mid-teens for the rest of the week.
