A local youth will receive funding to help with her education. Katreen Wheeler was awarded a Clark Grant Award, part of the provincial-wide Clark Awards fund, and additional support through Family, Youth and Child Services of Muskoka’s Gift and Endowment fund. The total funding is around $6,000. The Clark Bursary Fund was established in 1989 through a generous donation by Ron and Nancy Clark of Caledonia. It was created to assist youth in care and former wards to achieve their academic and career goals.
