Federal Government supports youth and business development initiatives

The Federal Government is supporting Youth and Business Development Initiatives in Northern Ontario. On Monday, Fednor announced over a million dollars to support 30 youth internships across Northern Ontario including six in Parry Sound-Muskoka. Each recipient will get $31,500 to hire a youth intern for a year. Local beneficiaries include Friends of the Muskoka Watershed, Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce, Muskoka Chautauqua, Muskoka CFDC, Muskoka Lakes Museum Port Carling, and RJW Enterprises Inc. out of Seguin.
