It was a full house at the new Marchand’s MMA & Self Defence Studio. Yesterday, the grand opening in the new gym in Huntsville saw men, women and kids come in wanting to know more about what the gym can offer. Owner Shawn Marchand says he’s wanted to open up this gym for a long time.

The new gym is modeled to be a family friendly environment. Marchand says he wants people to know that this isn’t a fight club.

Marchand’s MMA & Self Defence Studio is here to empower women. Marchand says they’re also offering classes for women in three different ranges.
