The Trillium Lakelands District School Board has a balanced budget. The 2014-2015 draft budget was presented to the board last week for $204,949,495. Superintendent of Business Bob Kaye says it’s balanced with the exception of a $3,010,000 surplus. they actually have a surplus balance of just over 3 million from previous years. He says who presented the draft budget to trustees last week.

Trustees approved a revised Surplus Management Plan, which include a proposed Tech Camp for students, tech shop equipment, software for school to home communication, a learning commons project, Specialist High Skills Major staffing, the Quality Daily Physical Activity initiative. Trustees will vote on the draft budget next Wednesday.
