AHSS is building a community garden

Almaguin Highlands Secondary School is working on a growing food for the school’s Food Bank. Students, staff and even community members are digging in the dirt to build two ten by ten greenhouses and a few raised beds for a community garden. Not only will the food be used for the Food Bank, it will also provide ingredients for the Hospitality program. Meantime, the Magentawan Lions Club has helped students put together picnic tables for the garden area.
