Police charge two Burk’s Falls men with possession for the purpose of trafficking

Two Burk’s Falls men face drug trafficking charges.  Last Friday morning around 9:30am, Almaguin Highlands OPP stopped a truck in the village of Burk’s Falls.  As a result of the stop, officers arrested the 42-year-old driver and a further investigation lead to the arrest of a 31-year-old.  Both men were charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.  The driver was held pending a bail hearing in Parry Sound while the other man charged will face his charge in a Sundridge court in June.
