West Parry Sound OPP helps in child pornography investigation

Local police have helped to arrest a man who kept child pornography. West Parry Sound OPP were given information about stolen property and child pornography back on March 4th and on Thursday, helped Collingwood OPP and the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Section execute a warrant at a Collingwood home. Police recovered stolen property and CSES analyzed all computers and found child pornography on them. The 27-year-old Collingwood man is charged with two counts of possession of child pornography as well as possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. He was held pending a bail hearing in Barrie.
