Environment Canada says it may be spring, but Mother Nature is still in a wintery mood. A special weather statement is in effect for our area, with a potent disturbance from Southern Michigan carving a path across Southern Ontario this morning. A relatively brief but intense period of precipitation including snow, freezing rain, and rain is expected to hit the province. In the Huntsville and Parry Sound areas, the forecast is calling for about two to four centimetres of snow.
