Ontario Winter Games Opening Ceremony tonight

The Ontario Winter Games Opening Ceremony happens tonight at the Muskoka Wharf, Special Events Field. Because of this, Bay Street in Gravenhurst will be closed off between 6 and 8:30 pm for the movement of 3000+ athletes, coaches and volunteers. You are advised to use James Street to avoid traffic congestion. And as there will be limited parking around the Games field, a free shuttle service will run to and from the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre YMCA located at 101 Centennial Drive, between 5:30 and 6:30, then again back to the centre between 7:30 and 8:30 after the event.

Meantime, the Ontario Early Years Centres, the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre and Bala Community Centre are closed. For details on event listings visit www.ontariowintergames.com.
