Ontario Public Service looking to hire 5,000 students

Students have an opportunity to work for the government this summer. The Ontario Public Service will hire about 5,000 students to work for one of 24 ministries across Ontario.

Positions available are in areas like customer service, environmental sciences, communications, tourism, research, Ontario Parks, project support and more.

In order to apply, students have to be between the ages of 15 and 24, currently enrolled in school or within six months of graduation, an Ontario resident and eligible to work in Canada.

There are two position periods to apply. The first is from February 14 to March 2 with placements starting in May. The second is from March 21 to April 6 with placements starting in June.
