Huntsville Town Docks rebuild starts in February
Construction on Huntsville’s Town Docks is happening soon. Council had a special meeting Monday and gave the contract to Huron District Contracting. Huron District competed with three other companies, but came up with the lowest bid at $847,251 base price.
Huntsville’s Public Infrastructure Executive Director Matthew Hartney says the rebuild will start right after the Winter Comedy Festival next month.
Hartney also says the River Mill Park area will be busy.
The total cost of the rebuild is $1,087,901.10. The Town is applying to get it all paid for by the Ontario’s Disaster Relief Fund.
