Bracebridge OPP is investigating two separate snowmobiles thefts in Gravenhurst. Sometime overnight on Friday, a black and white 2015 Polaris Switchback and red 2010 Polaris Dragon were stolen. Police say the 2015 Polaris Switchback has the marker 9AH805 and is valued at approximately $16,000. That snowmobile was taken from a Gravenhurst hotel parking lot. Meanwhile the second snowmobile, a red 2010 Polaris Dragon has the marker 5AB902 and was taken off of a trailer from an area cottage. Bracebridge OPP says so far this season, police have investigated six reported snowmobile thefts. The OPP says make sure you take the extra steps to ensure your snow equipment is well secured.
