Bracebridge OPP responded to 48 collisions over the weekend

It was a busy couple of days for the OPP as they responded to numerous crashes on area roads. Between Friday and Sunday Bracebridge OPP responded to 48 collisions and more than half happened on Highway 11. Police urge you to reduce your speed and eliminate distractions while you are driving. You should also give yourself extra time to arrive at your destination. Police also ask that you give snow removal equipment extra space on the roadway. You should always have your lights on too during snowy conditions. Police say extra attention is key when it comes to winter driving.
