Many accidents reported today and more snow's expected tonight

Roads continue to be snow covered and icy across the region – while Highway 11 north of Huntsville is now open it was closed for most of the day after several multi-vehicle collisions. Bracebridge saw its share of accidents today too with collisions on Manitoba Street, High Falls Road and Balls Drive near the Moose studios – that one sent a pedestrian to hospital after he was hit by a car. Police say you should keep off the roads if you don’t have to venture out – another 15 cm is expected to arrive tonight.
