Drivers asked to be careful with kids on winter break

Drivers are asked to be careful now that winter break has started. Children will be outside playing this week and during the Christmas holidays. Police are reminding drivers to be on the lookout for kids and make sure you’re prepared to stop at all times. Always make eye contact with kids who are waiting to cross the road and also watch for children when reversing.
