THIS JUST IN: Convicted killer's case remanded until January 28th

Convicted killer Justin Primmer will be behind bars a little longer. Today his case was remanded in Bracebridge court until the 28th. He’s facing assault and breaching probation charges after police got wind of an assault alleged to have happened in Huntsville in early January. A publication ban protects the identity of that victim and another person named in court documents. In 2003, Primmer was convicted for the stabbing death of Stratford resident Bill ‘Bonesy’ Welch. In 2013, he went to jail for six months for the severe beating of Brantford resident Desiree Gallagher. Shortly after she was assaulted, she fell from a seventh floor apartment and now has partially damaged eyesight and short term memory. Primmer moved to Huntsville in October after being put on probation. His court date on the 28th will be in Bracebridge.
