Experts say car crashes are the leading cause of death to children in Canada
According to the Simcoe Muskoka District of Health, car accidents are the leading cause of death to children in Canada. In Muskoka, car seat clinics are offered to help guardians learn about car seat safety. Diane Baranik, Public Health Nurse with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit explains who these clinics are for.
Baranik says, children are less likely to get severely injured with the proper use of car seats. On Thursday, a clinic is being offered at the Huntsville Fire Hall from noon until 2pm. For more information visit www.simcoemuskokahealth.org/
