New indoor floor hockey night started in Bracebridge

Calling all Bracebridge floor hockey fans! A new weekly indoor hockey night has started at the Bracebridge Salvation Army Church on Friday nights. It happens between 7and 9pm and is open to anyone over 16. You can come out and play for free, but donations of clothing or toys to the Church are always welcome. While there is organized hockey and an outdoor ice rink in Bracebridge, organizer Phil Elliott thought the time for floor hockey had arrived.

This past Friday, the night saw about 20 players come out. Elliott hopes it will grow and says the Huntsville players plan to come down for games at the end of the season. If you want to take part you can contact Mark via email at [email protected] You can also text Phil at 705-641-9743
