Huntsville residents concerned a killer has come to their town

Huntsville residents are concerned a convicted killer has come to their town. In 2003, Justin Primmer was convicted of manslaughter in the stabbing death of Bill ‘Bonesy’ Welch in Stratford. Then in 2013 he was also convicted for the violent beating of 22 year old Desiree Gallagher, which left her partially blind and with damaged short term memory. Primmer served half of a 10 year sentence in the man’s death and was sentenced to six months for Gallaghers’ beating. He was released on probation in October. Huntsville OPP Constable Lynda Cranney can’t comment on the issue directly, but she says police are aware of the public’s concern after Gallagher’s family contacted local media.
