Freezing rain weather statement issued for Muskoka and Parry Sound

A special weather statement has been issued for Muskoka and Parry Sound. Warm air and rain is expected to arrive tonight with freezing rain expected early tomorrow. A deepening low pressure system will generate 10 to 25 millimeters of rain. Although the temperature is expected to rise to plus eight tomorrow, untreated surfaces may be icy due to the recent cold spell.
