PAWS hopes you will extend a helping hand

A no-kill animal shelter, with a location south of Huntsville, is pleading for help. Peoples Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is hoping you will spend you last donation dollars of the year to help them continue to operate. President Kimberly Heys says they are without funding at this time.

Heys says they rescued hundreds of animals in the 2013 spring flood. PAWS was founded in Toronto back in 1972 and has since built a location near Huntsville. The shelter offers programs such as spay, neutering and adoptions.

Heys says the more resources they have the more care they can provide to animals in need. Click here for more information on PAWS and how to donate.
