Tony Clement discusses new security legislation
Our MP says Canada is going to take action against any potential terrorism. Last week’s deadly attacks in Paris have Tony Clement saying it underlines the world-wide threat that includes our country.
The Parry Sound-Muskoka MP says the legislation will be tabled when Parliament resumes later this month.
Meantime, the recent attacks in Paris brought back scary memories of the shooting on Parliament Hill back in October. Clement says it was like reliving a nightmare.
Seventeen people died in the Paris shootings last week Clement says he is looking forward to the debate in the House of Commons. But, he says the security legislation should pass as quickly as possible so the Canadian government can meet the threat.
