GRAVENHURST, ON-Bracebridge OPP has charged a Gravenhurst man after a car was taken without the owner’s consent.

On May 25th at 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a call about the vehicle being taken and that the suspect had been drinking.

The car was found and stopped on Highway 11 North in Huntsville and after conducting an investigation, a 38-year-old man was charged with impaired driving, taking a vehicle without consent and failing to comply with probation.

His vehicle has been impounded, and his licence has been suspended for 90 days.

The accused is set to appear in court on August 4th.
