Local sports teams off for the holidays

In GMHL action, both the South Muskoka Shield and Bracebridge Blues are off for the Christmas break. The South Muskoka Shield team returns to the ice January 2nd to host the Toronto Predators at 8pm while on January 4th the team hosts the Bradford Bulls at 12:30pm. Meantime Bracebridge returns January 3^rd to host Meaford at 8pm. In South Muskoka Minor Hockey action, all teams are off for the holidays and return to the rink the first week of January.
