A Bracebridge man has been arrested and charged for stealing a vehicle.
On Sunday, around 11 a.m., Bracebridge OPP officers were dispatched to a complaint where a known suspect had taken the caller’s vehicle without permission and damaged it.
Police responded to the area on Armstrong Street, where they located and apprehended the suspect following an investigation.
As a result, a 33-year-old man from Bracebridge is facing multiple charges including taking a motor vehicle without consent, mischief under $5000, fraud under $5000, failure to comply with probation, possession of a schedule I substance and driving while under suspension.
He will be before a judge in a Bracebridge courtroom on June 30.
