Bracebridge Transit is shifting a bit to make way for Fire and Ice this weekend.
Stops on Taylor Road and Manitoba Street will be temporarily closed and relocated. Manitoba Street will be closed to all traffic from Ontario Street to Ann Street Friday night to Sunday morning. Taylor Road will also be closed from Manitoba to Hiram.
Here is a list of all temporary changes to the bus stops:
- 270 Taylor Road temporarily closed, use 270b on Hiram Street
- 280 St. Thomas Anglican Church on Manitoba Street temporarily closed, use 270b on Hiram Street
- 290 Shier Building on Manibota Street temporarily closed, use 300 on Ann and James Street
- Bird Mill Mews on Ecclestone Drive temporarily closed from 4pm to 6:30pm, use 130 at the Royal Canadian Legion
The town will be running free shuttle service during the day from various points around the community to cut down on parked car congestion in the downtown. You can find more details on the pickup points for the shutting here.
