Your tax increase in Bracebridge may not be as high this year.
To pay for the proposed budget, the town is suggesting a 3.4 per cent tax increase or about $30 on a $200,000 home. Last year, the tax increase was $44 for a $200,000 home. Town officials say the biggest driver is the cost of infrastructure and transit. About 32 cents of every tax dollar collected is going towards these costs.
