Marijuana sale revenue should be going to municipalities as well says MPP Miller

Norm Miller says marijuana sales should have some benefit to municipalities in Muskoka.

The Parry Sound Muskoka MPP says officials are still figuring out how revenue from sales will be split between the province and the federal governments. Miller says they need to take the lower tier governments into consideration as well.

He adds the province could also consider putting funds into offsetting OPP costs and providing more education on the laws surrounding marijuana sales and use.

Marijuana sales will kick off in special LCBO stores in Ontario on July 1st.
