Bracebridge officials are considering replacing Black Bridge near Uffington.
Officials say the bridge is old and there are concerns about safety because of structural issues with the aging infrastructure. Because the bridge is considered a piece of heritage for the area, the town is holding a public consultation. Officials will present the replacement option and are looking for feedback from residents and stakeholders in the community.
The bridge is part of Matthiasville Road off of Highway 118 and runs over the Muskoka River.
