The South Muskoka Shield needs some help as the team prepares for a new season.
Team GM Frank Demasi says they’re looking for volunteers to help with everything from taking tickets to hosting players for the season.
Demasi says volunteers are a big part of what makes this team successful. Families that decide to open their homes to players will get some financial help to pay for meals and other costs and Demasi says it’s a great opportunity to host a kid from another country.
