District of Muskoka opening up an online survey to hear from cottagers

The District of Muskoka wants to hear from cottagers. It has released a survey for seasonal residents to take, saying there are more summer residents than permanent in the district. District officials say cottagers are a vital part of Muskoka’s culture, traditions and economy.

The online survey is called the Second Home Survey. It will help the district shape the way its services and programs work, and officials say it’s a way to gather the input from the cottage community.

The questions cover which municipality your cottage is in, how you access it and if it’s winterized. The survey is open until the end of August.
