The Canada Revenue Agency is aware of a scam making its rounds through our county.
Scammers have been calling people posing as the C.R.A. demanding payment for late taxes and threatening to have people arrested.
C.R.A. Spokesperson Jelica Zdero says this isn’t how the tax agency does business.
