Thousands of books for sale at a Canada Day book fair in Huntsville

The Huntsville-Lake of Bays Rotary Club is helping you get a jump on your summer reading. The club was gifted books from the Schwarzl family in Huntsville, and will have a total of around 8,000 for sale.

There will be both fiction and non-fiction, and no book will cost more than a dollar. The proceeds will go back into the rotary club.

Event Chair Rob Attfield says some of the programs it supports is a Huntsville High School student lunch program called Helping Hungry Students, an Algonquin Orthodontics program supporting low-income youth, and support for the Huntsville High School breakfast program.

He says you can take advantage of wonderful reading material, and support Muskoka youth.

It’s all happening in the Trinity United Church hall, from 9:00am until 4:00pm on July 1st.
