Public input on the baseball diamonds at McCulley Robertson Park wanted

Huntsville is looking for feedback on the state of the baseball diamonds at McCulley Robertson Park.  The town is hosting a public meeting next month to hear what the community wants to see at the four diamonds.

Council talked about the diamonds in a committee meeting last month, saying they are around 30-years-old, and some infrastructure upgrades are needed. Council did discuss completely redoing the fields, but Director of Operations Steve Hernen says they haven’t budgeted for a total overhaul this year.

The meeting is on June 14th at 6:00pm at the Active Living Centre. The town is asking anyone with an idea to be prepared to speak at the meeting, as well as send in your requests in writing. They should be sent to [email protected] by June 16th at the latest.
