The property is being considered for a Chinese-Canadian High School campus by Maple Leaf Educational Systems.
The first offer from Gravenhurst to buy the property was rejected by Infrastructure Ontario.
Gravenhurst officials are worried if the deal can’t get done soon, MLES will move to another community to find a property to build on.
