Norm Miller is getting involved in support rural schools.
The Parry Sound Muskoka MPP was involved in a rural school discussion in Honey Harbour run by the Ministry of Education on Tuesday night.
Miller says he wants to make sure Honey Harbour Public School remains in place for many years.
Honey Harbour was one of ten communities in Ontario invited to take part in helping the ministry build a new strategy to support rural schools.

The local public school was facing closure because of a steady drop in enrolment, but the Trillium Lakelands District School Board voted to keep it open.
The ministry is expected to use this community feedback in a report released in the fall.
