A national project is looking for Muskoka memories

Tale of a Town is heading to Muskoka. The national theatre and media project is setting out to capture stories and memories of main streets across the country.

Aidan Morishita-Miki from Tale of a Town says they’ll be making stops in Bracebridge, Burk’s Falls, Gravenhurst and Sundridge from June 2nd to 11th as part of a larger project spanning Highway 11, which is Canada’s longest main street.

The Tale of a Town is looking for people with living memories of the main street in their hometown. That means a memory that happened to you in your lifetime.

They’ll take the stories locals give to them and use them in a performance installation for Huntsville’s Nuit Blanche on July 29th.
