You may not be able to get the boat out just yet for this long weekend.
Parks Canada is keeping the Trent-Severn Waterway closed this weekend.
Officials say the higher-than-usual water flows have left behind a lot of debris that is causing dangerous boating conditions on the canals.
Using the canals around Washago and south of Haliburton is being discouraged until the debris can be cleared out.
The lock stations will still be open to visitors on the land and the waterways should be open by May 26th.
