Watch out for lane closures and construction workers along Highway 60 this summer. A $6.5 million project to repave the road and replace culverts is now underway.
The work starts at Highway 11 and goes to the Hidden Valley Road area, which is just outside of Huntsville. There will be workers on the road, and traffic will be down to one lane in various spots.
The project will continue all summer and is expected to wrap up by the end of October. The OPP is reminding drivers to be extra cautious in construction zones, as speeding and aggressive driving can be a problem.
