The Arrowhead Nordic Ski Club is getting some national recognition. Cross Country Ski Canada, which oversees the sport in the country, named the club the number one medium sized most improved in the country. The award is called Club Podium, and is awarded based on membership numbers, programs, and racing.
On top of that, the ski club was also awarded second place in growth in athlete participation. The awards will be handed out at the Cross Country Canada AGM in Canmore this June.
